Zucker. expands fashion PR expertise with Havaianas and Kawasaki Footwear

With the two international labels HAVAIANAS and KAWASAKI FOOTWEAR, Zucker. expands the agency's portfolio in the sector of fashion and sport lifestyle. Zucker. is responsible for the two brands' PR in Germany and Austria, for Kawasaki Footwear additionally in Switzerland, and is therefore able to manifest the agency's top position among German Lifestyle-PR providers.
HAVAIANAS is the worldwide leading producer of sandals with an annual production volume of about 200 million pairs. The company was founded in 1962 in Brazil and – after becoming a cult in its home country – was able to establish itself internationally following the Football World Cup in 1998 and the accompanying release of the Brasil model.
The Danish label KAWASAKI FOOTWEAR has stayed true to its roots in every way since the company was founded in 1972. Kawasaki sneakers are an authentic retro product: the shoes are still manufactured in the original factories with the original machinery from the 70ies – colours, materials and styles vary with each collection. Production is based exclusively in Europe and ecological aspects and concerns have been playing a big role ever since. KAWASAKI FOOTWEAR is only using natural materials in its production and the soles are vulcanized, which guarantees the quality, endurance and comfort of the shoes.
In Germany, HAVAIANAS and KAWASAKI FOOTWEAR are exclusively distributed by Soonproject GmbH in Nordhorn.
Zucker. is working with the world's biggest sportswear retailer FOOT LOCKER since 2004. Further, the agency is responsible for the labels C1RCA and COPY who are both distributed by Four Star Distribution.
